Justin Cummins
Justin Cummins is a professionally trained chef, ex New Zealand soldier, and kiwi hiking guide who is addicted to ultra long distance hiking. Justin completed the Pacific Crest Trail (4,300km) last year and is leaving at the end of April to attempt the Continental Divide Trail (5,000km). His ultimate goal is to earn the Triple Crown of Hiking (check out wikipedia for more info). Last summer’s five month hike involved 146 days of hiking, destroying 5 pairs of shoes, losing 35lbs of body weight whilst consuming 3,500-5,000 calories at day, and some of the best Trail-Angel stories you’ve ever heard. Justin is looking forward to getting back on the trail even if it will be higher, longer, and harder. And 40% of the Continental Divide trail is unmarked which should make things fun!
