Avalanche Awareness Days

Join the ski patrol team from 10:00am to 3:00pm at various locations around the hill to hone your skills and learn.
Info booth and film “The Fine Line” hosted in day Lodge all day, companion rescue demo and practice with beacon/probe/shovel at top of Silver along with a snow profile demo at the top of Gold, silent auction and raffle fundraiser in Day Lodge to support CAA.

All Day – Information booth in the main day lodge
All Day – Film showing in day lodge (The Fine line)
11:00 – Explosives demo in Bighorn Bowl (permanently closed area) (wx permitting)
All Day – Beacon/probe/shovel demo and practice area and friendly challenge with prizes top of silver
1:00 – Snow study pit demo top of Gold
All Day – Silent auction and raffle fundraiser in Day Lodge (proceeds to CAA)
