Avalanche Awareness Day

Nakiska’s Fourth Annual Avalanche Awareness Day is on Saturday January 18th from 10:00AM to 3:00PM in the day lodge.

Nakiska invites boarders and skiers to learn more about avalanches and related rescue techniques on this National Day (designated by the CAA). Stop in at the Information Booth located in the Main Day Lodge and become more avalanche aware by speaking to a Ski Patroller, watching a Video (The Fine Line), participate in Beacon Demo/Practice Area in the Base Area and participate in a fundraising raffle!
