Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup

The world’s best skier cross athletes are coming together in Alberta for the second time! As the first stop on the ski cross World Cup circuit, the second annual Audi FIS Nakiska Ski Cross World Cup will set the stage for the upcoming season. This fast-paced event is an important opportunity for Canadian skiers to earn points towards qualifying for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. With 190 of the world’s best skiers vying for the $80,000 in prize money up for grabs, the weekend will be jam-packed with quick turns, daring passes and big air.
With an ideal layout and easy accessibility, Nakiska Ski Area is a prime location to host this world-class event. A quick 45-minute drive from Calgary guarantees athletes a cheering section that will push them to compete at their best, plus the resort’s base area offers spectators easy access to all the World Cup festivities.
