Sled Dog Snowskates – Bonefight Race Day

Try Sled Dogs, the snowskates. Snowskating is just like skating on ice. Do the qualifying run and if you’re in the top 20 (men or women) you keep racing for the big prize, if not, no worries, spend the rest of the day on the hill for $48 bucks,. Either you get your heart rate up and go for the big prize, or have fun on the slopes – 1500 Euro prize pool! The Bonefight is a blazing hot new downhill winter sport competition! It’s fast, it’s fun, and open to all skill levels – from established winter sports stars to local heroes! This competition is celebrated around the world with some of the hottest names in downhill, skate, and hockey, including seasoned Crashed Ice riders and bold newcomers, looking to make their mark in an exciting new arena.

What are Snowskates?
Sled Dogs Snowskates are the world’s first skates made for snow and the only winter sport that allows you to fly down a mountain on skates with precision and ease.

What are the details?
The cost of registration (C$48) includes a full-day lift ticket to Nakiska, free Snowskates rental, and registration for the competition and jump contest.

Anyone can enter the individual time trial on race day*
The top 20 men and top 20 women from the time trial will be ranked and drafted to the finals
Knockout stage with 4 riders in each heat

The track will be between 350 and 400 meters. The participants will be able to practice beside the track, and they will have two individual qualification runs. The top 20 in both divisions will move on to the finals and will feature heats of 4 athletes. The top 2 of each heat will move on to the next round until the champion is crowned!
There will also be a freestyle jump competition after the final race of the day.
* subject to passing a basic competency/safety test. The right of admission reserved by race organizers.
