All Multi Week Programs meet at the signed corral by the Olympic chair and patrol.
All single use, daily lessons meet at the lesson flags by the learners zone (magic carpet/bunny hill).
If you miss the first week of your multi week program, supervisors will be at the check in each week to help you find your group.
For our multi week programs, the instructors meet weekly and are led by a “team lead” to ensure that everyone is in the best group for their needs. If you believe you're still not placed appropriately, please chat with your instructor to understand why you're in that group. Remember, it’s not the speed you ski or ride that's important, it’s the technique that you use relative to the terrain you are on.
For daily lessons, please talk to your instructor and/or the check-in supervisor on-snow to correctly establish your skills and if anything needs to be done to place you in a different group.
Our cancellation policies are very transparent and supportive of our guests making changes as and when possible. If you are unsure, please refer to the policies. If you feel your situation is not covered, please reach out directly to the resort team to get more information.
Unfortunately not. You have booked for a set number of specifically timed and dated lessons, so if you do miss one of the lessons, that time is lost.
Unfortunately not. Due to the planning and organization that goes into the groups, it’s probable that by joining another group it will disrupt the dynamic of the class and likely result in poor placement. We will do our best to match you up with your group but there are no guarantees.
Above all, you need to be able to control your speed using turns and stop when asked to do so. This is the same for snowboarding with a focus of using both heel and toe edge turns. Please be aware that without this level of independence it would be unsafe to venture further up the mountain.
The multi-week lessons do not come with rentals or lift passes, these can be purchased online or the day of lessons. This has to be done each visit as pre-dated tickets cannot be printed at our desk. As you are coming for 6/12 weeks of lessons we recommend looking at season pass options to save money.
For multi week programs, please send an email to [email protected] to explain the situation, we will look into what space we have to move into a different level. This will not be resolved until late October due to the snow school being closed for summer.
For daily lessons, you are responsible for booking this as accurately as possible. We understand that confidence levels can change from day to day, but please do not book the wrong level just to get a space. If you have taken a space that others could have booked and show up with the incorrect level, we reserve the right to remove you from the class so you do not impact the experience of others. We will always try and find suitable solutions to keep everyone skiing and riding but sometimes this just is not possible as busy times.
If your group does not reach minimum numbers we will reach out to discuss options around 7 days prior to the lesson start date. These options may include moving to a different day/time or a refund if we do not have a big enough group going out.
The 12 week programs are split into 2 x 6 week blocks, this means there will not be lessons over Family day weekend.
No, the sport you initially book will continue for the 6 week program block. Due to the volume of registrations it is likely we will not have space to move to switch you.
For our multi week programs, please refer to the weather policy. You will need to have our contact email marked as safe for our weekly communication ([email protected]).
For our daily lessons, if the lifts are turning, our lessons are running. Please refer to the snow report for the most up to date information for updates on operations.
Above all, please understand that skiing and snowboarding lessons are conducted in below freezing temperatures so dress accordingly and enjoy the winter experience!
